Botox® - Botox® Cosmetic is a simple, non-surgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows. It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Botox® is injected into the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. As the muscle weakens, the skin overlying the muscle also relaxes and wrinkles begin to soften or disappear. When used in small quantities, Botox® is very safe and it only affects the area that is treated. Botox® is commonly used to treat areas such as frown lines between the eyebrows, wrinkles around the eyes and horizontal lines on the forehead. The results of Botox® injections typically last about four to six months. Our doctors have been certified by the Botox Cosmetic Preceptorship Training program. Collagen – Collagen is a soft-tissue filler that can help fill in these lines and creases, temporarily restoring a smoother, more youthful-looking appearance. When injected beneath the skin, these fillers plump up creased and sunken areas of the face. They can also add fullness to the lips and cheeks. Collagen may be used alone or in conjunction with a resurfacing procedure, such as a laser treatment. Laser hair removal – If you’re tired of waxing and shaving, then laser hair removal is for you. Laser hair removal effectively destroys hair follicles. It is less painful and requires fewer treatments than electrolysis and waxing. Restylane - Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane can smooth out wrinkles, sculpt facial contours and enhance lips. Restylane is a crystal-clear, non-animal, biodegradable gel based on a natural substance, called hyaluronic acid. The gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts producing instant results. This natural enhancement lasts for six months to a year. Chemical Peels - Chemical peels use various chemical solutions to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation. Phenol, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) are often used for this purpose as are Glycolic and AHA’s. Contact us to find out what’s right for you.
